June 2003 Funding for a new PATSy project is announced: Vicarious Learning and Case-Based Teaching of Clinical
Reasoning Skills, funded under Phase III of the ESRC's TLRP programme. Here is a press release.
May 2003 The CaSTLe project begins, funded under HEFCE FDTL4. Aim is to embed and disseminate
innovative case study based learning and teaching methods within the
allied subject areas of Audiology and Speech and Language Sciences.

31st October 2002 PATSy is one of approximately 250 projects to be included in the alpha release
of LESTER (Learning Science and
Technology Repository), an online portal developed by Rice University and
sponsored by Microsoft Research that tracks innovations in education and

cognitive science, computer science and engineering, psychology, and academic

April/May 2002 Extensive work on PATSy's administrator 'back
end' to permit user departments to add their own cases and data to the
system more autonomously.
28th March 2002 Launched "Raw data output" mode on PATSy
which presents PATSy test results in plain text format suitable for
importing into Excel to allow statistical analyses of test data. For

26th February 2002 FAQ and Trouble-shooting lists installed
on PATSy under "About PATSy and further information".
10th February 2002 National Grid for Learning badge
awarded. Contributor's, publications Web pages tidied. New 'Other
related cases' menu line installed.
1st February 2002 Two new domains introduced to PATSy:
Neuropsychology and Medical Rehabilitation. These add to the existing
domains of Speech & Language and Dyslexia.
November 2001 New "Educational Support" table from the test
list containing domain-specific links. These links include IPA charts,
and researcher-specific guides to tests. A new distinction between
"Demonstration" and "Research" classification of cases on
PATSY introduced. Consent documents installed on PATSy.
